Wawa - “It’s a frickin’ hoagie” - TV Commercial

Philadelphia has a language all its own—and there are few things more Philly than a Wawa hoagie, the Eagles, and a little Brotherly Love. With the Eagles making their exciting run to the Super Bowl, Wawa partnered with Loaded Pixel to create a commercial celebrating the people, places, traditions, and unmistakable personality that make Philadelphia unique.

The campaign puts Philadelphia pride front and center, reminding viewers that Brotherly Love goes far beyond sharing a last name or growing up in the same neighborhood. From Broad Street to the Boulevard, the Jersey Shore to Delaware County, the spot captures the shared experiences and loyalty that connect the Philadelphia community.

At the center of the campaign is one very important distinction: it's a hoagie—not a sub. With humor, personality, and a healthy dose of Eagles spirit, the commercial embraces the authentic language and culture of Philadelphia while delivering a message that feels unmistakably local.

Loaded Pixel partnered with Wawa to bring this high-energy brand campaign to life, combining creative storytelling, comedy, and Philadelphia culture into a memorable commercial built around the excitement surrounding the Eagles' Super Bowl run. The result is a piece that feels less like traditional advertising and more like a celebration of the city itself.
