Eleven Past 10 - Short Film In The Streets Of Philadelphia
Set against the historic backdrop of Independence Hall in Philadelphia, PA, Eleven Past 10 is a voyeuristically shot short film that uses multiple cameras and super long lenses to evoke a sense of intrusion. The story follows a pickpocket who gets more than she bargained for after stealing the wallet of a long-lost relative.
Adding to the film's authenticity, it incorporates genuine reactions and performances from unsuspecting tourists captured during filming. This innovative project won an Addy Award for Best Short Content Editing and was showcased by the Philadelphia Film Society, earning acclaim for its creative storytelling and compelling execution.
Wawa - $6 meal deal
Value may be the headline, but the hero is precision. Our $6 Meal Deal spot was engineered around motion-control (MoCo) robotics, specialty food rigs, and high-speed imaging to capture one-of-a-kind moments you can’t get handheld.
We choreographed the camera on a MoCo robot to pre-program complex, repeatable moves—think a 3-axis orbit that threads through steam and lands perfectly on a price super, down to the millimeter. That repeatability let us stitch multiple passes (food, graphics, atmospherics) into seamless composite beats and nail continuity while moving fast.
Food rigs did the heavy lifting on the physics: concealed armatures and magnetic releases for stack “landings,” a drip rail that meters sauce like a metronome, a spring-assist fry drop that resets instantly, and a tensioned “lift and reveal” carriage for the hero sandwich. Each rig was tuned with culinary styling so textures read as craveable at 300–1,000 fps.
High-speed cameras turned micro-moments into macro drama: carbonated beads racing up a glass, a slow-mo bite that fractures perfectly, a dipping arc that ribbons into the cup without splash chaos. We paired that with controlled atmospherics (heat haze, motivated steam, specular kicks) and a color pipeline designed to keep skin tones natural and food tones appetizing, not radioactive.
The result is a tight, rhythmic cut where every move has intention: motion control for precision, rigs for repeatability, and high-speed for pure appetite science. Real food. Real physics. Really six dollars.
summer of sandwiches - hoagiefest
Sun, sand, and… tracking markers. Our Hoagiefest “Summer of Sandwiches” spot looks effortless on screen, but under the hood it’s a precision job; multiple locations, original animation translated into the real world, and a pipeline built to keep everything perfectly in sync.
We started with the animation. The creative called for the signature Hoagiefest graphics to bleed into live action, tie-dye swirls, playful typography, and promo supers that feel like they’re painted by the sun. Instead of bolting the graphics on later, we reverse-engineered the live action to fit the animation. An animatic and detailed shot planning established camera angles, parallax, and animation timing; then we built a frame-accurate technical layout (techvis) so every on-location shot would give post exactly what it needed.
On set, we chased summer across multiple environments, beach, park, tailgate, road-trip pit stops, matching lensing, horizon height, camera height, and move speed to the tech layout. Motion plates and clean passes were captured at each location to preserve flexibility for comp. Practical elements (flags, towels, coolers, even a drifting beach umbrella) were blocked to interact with 2D/3D graphic planes later, so the animation feels grounded, casting shadows, wrapping edges, hugging perspective.
Color and exposure were standardized with a common LUT and gray/ColorChecker discipline across locations so the illustrated palette could sit naturally over skin tones and (most importantly) sandwich tones. Editorial leaned on musical timing from the original animation boards—supers hit on beat, and macro food moments open at exact frames where the tie-dye reveals bloom.
The result: a sunny, high-energy summer film where design and live action don’t just coexist—they dance. Multiple locations, one visual language, zero guesswork.
